Jacki enjoys village life, her garden and walks across the Chiltern Hills, but she likes to travel too. Much of her inspiration comes from the natural world and places she has visited.
She has an eclectic taste in art, and is particularly inspired by the impressionists (particularly Monet), but modern abstract artists serve as the greatest influencers of her work.
Her mastery of abstract techniques allows her to capture impressions, moods and emotions in her paintings - each one is unique and allows the viewer to interpret them in a number of ways.
She is passionate about coloured, precious and semi-precious gemstones, and she has given a number of lectures on gemstones for charities at venues such as Cliveden House Hotel and The Museum of London.
Jacki dedicates a lot of time to charitable causes. She has held auctions and other smaller charity sales for Hearing Dogs for the Deaf, Scope, Buckinghamshire Air Ambulance, Cancer Research, British Heart Foundation, Chiltern Dog Rescue, Macmillan Cancer Support, Breast Cancer Care and African Children's school charities. She also donates proceeds from sales of some paintings to charities.
